I Feel Like Hal Lindsey! Tourism in Political Chess: China vs. Japan

China‘s tourism authorities have asked local travel agencies not to promote travel to Japan amid an increasingly tense territorial dispute between the two countries, a person familiar with the matter said Wednesday.”
China Asks Travel Agents Not to Promote Trips to Japan - By HIROYUKI KACHI

1. When governments act in such a manner it is the people that get hurt not the governments that are at odds with each other.

To many westerners this seems a little silly to be fighting over but not when it is taken in cultural and historical context. The readers digest version is that everyone is trying to “Save Face”.

With that said the more crucial aspect is the historical seething hatreds and fears Japan and China hold for each other.

The “territorial dispute” is far more. It is China flexing its muscle around Asia, in particular with an old nemesis: Japan.

Here in the West people have this odd notion that all is well and calm between Japan-Korea-China…Not So.

All the old distrusts and hatreds are buring in a cauldron and have been ever since the end of WWII. The real danger is the polite surface of Northeast Asia’s “3” will be scratched and literally all hell will break loose.

Japan eyes Korea and Japan as its gateway, launch pad, into mainland Asia.

China uses the Korea’s as a buffer between itself and Japan.

Korea and The Koreans are caught in the middle

North Korea is a puppet of China.

China is emboldened by the now weak U.S. Economy, which they control, and our military commitments globally that are wasting our resources.

China smells blood in the water when it comes to Taiwan as a succession of U.S. Presidents and Secretaries of State and Defense have bailed on our commitment to Taiwan and its people….Watch for Russian activity in the area as well.

Government Motors (GM) Taxpayer Funded Cash Cow For Election Campaigns

“General Motors Co. has begun to once again contribute to political campaigns, lifting a self-imposed ban on political spending put in place during the automaker’s U.S.-financed bankruptcy restructuring last year.

The Detroit company gave $90,500 to candidates running in the current election cycle, Federal Election Commission records show.”

GM Resumes Political Giving -By JOSH MITCHELL

1. Both parties republicans and democrats are guilty of fraud and theft from the U.S. Taxpayer.

2. Any recipient of GM political payoff funds, your tax dollars, should be called out by their constituents that GM is not their personal campaign financial institution making loans that will be paid for by the taxpayers with the government support of bailouts, pension guarantees, etc…

China In Bid To Own GM (US Government Motors) Is a Grand Proposal

They were stolen from their homes, locked in chains and taken across an ocean. And for more than 200 years, their blood and sweat would help to build the richest and most powerful nation the world has ever known.

But when slavery ended, their welcome was over. America’s wealthy elite had decided it was time for them to disappear and they were not particular about how it might be done.

What you are about to see is that the plan these people set in motion 150 years ago is still being carried out today. So don’t think that this is history. It is not. It is happening right here, and it’s happening right now.

US Govt SSI Program and Ponzi Scheme: Same Definition But One Is Legal? (Orig Post 9.2010)

“A Ponzi scheme (Social Security Insurance) is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to separate investors from their own money or money paid by subsequent investors, rather than from any actual profit earned. The Ponzi scheme (Social Security Insurance) usually entices new investors by offering returns other investments cannot guarantee, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. The perpetuation of the returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises and pays requires an ever-increasing flow of money from investors to keep the scheme going.”

The differences are:

1. The government version (SSI) pays “investment returns” to people that have never “invested” one red cent (paid into the system), thus continually needing to increase your taxes to pay for the Ponzi Scheme.

2. The governments Ponzi Scheme is legal!

3. We kill off future “investors” Payers into the system,  in the Government Run Ponzi Scheme by Abortion making the criminal enterprise unsustainable.

Bigger Implications Than You Think: News Corp., Cablevision Square Off

The outcome of News Corp., Cablevision Square Off has larger implications than just News Corp being paid for their product/service.

This a a bigger question of Business Ethics, Intellectual and Property Rights in the digital age.

Many authors, publications and even the music industry have had to grapple with this issue.

Is it ethical to recieve a product or service free of charge then turnaround and charge a fee for it?  Without just compenation for the generator of the product or service?

Government manipulated housing market still in free fall

By Dan Levydocument.write(dateFormat(new Date(1284609601000),”mmm d, yyyy h:MM TT Z”));Sep 16, 2010 12:00 AM ET
First it must be stated that it was the GOVERNMENT forcing the subprime loans on the financial institutions via the taxpayer funded housing corporation Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.  These taxpayer backed corporations became the playground for Barney Frank and other politicians with the utopian (not constitutionally guaranteed) ideal of homeownership for all regardless of ability and resources to meet the mortgage financial responsibilities.
During the initial housing crisis the federal government artificially proped up the market delaying the inevitiable if in fact not making it worse.
Now coupled with horrendous and irresponsible failed fiscal policies the government has exasberated the problem not only destroying family lives and credit but also once again placing termendous downward pressure on the financial institutions that the government forced to make the loans or the government (you the taxpayer) owns.
