Jacqui Faye’s most recent work, the Red Shoe series, is figurative with an unusual twist — her fictional subjects are often painted from the shoulders, waist, hips, or knees down portrayed with the always present red shoes. “In this series, which began with the Red Shoe Dailies, I try to unite the outward physical beauty of the female form with an inner confidence and poise through the painted story — interpreted, or even at times, recognized by the viewer through anonymity of the character. The pose and background communicate the emotion of the painting through romance, self-confidence, femininity, and allure. Passion is the uniting theme of the series–symbolized by the red shoes of course. But more than that, I hope the passion behind each painting will draw the viewer in to interpret the mystery or intrigue within each character.”

Music Information:

Originally formed in 2003, Deep Chemistry has been creating their unique fusion of melodic hooks and danceable grooves for the better part of a decade. From their musically rich home base of the Hudson Valley in NY, to all the way up and down the East Coast, Deep Chemistry has been gaining fans from their high-energy live shows. Fans of all genres groove and jam intimately with the ‘2’ taking the trip with the band, appreciating their sound: it has the Soul and Funk for R&B fans, it is Powerful and Raw for Rock Lovers, and even Jazz Aficionados can dig on the sophisticated changes and arrangements.

Going through a succession of drummers, the band has been stripped down to the ‘2’ guitarist/vocalist Devin Daversa and bassist Zeb Kandros. The ‘2’ share a telepathic connection forged from playing hundreds of live shows together and countless hours of jamming.

‘For This Moment’…is a collection of songs that showcase the band’s creative songwriting and subtle virtuosity. It features the powerful drumming of Shane Chikeles (the Ataris, Joshua) throughout the album. Special guest Jeremy Baum (Shamekia Copeland Band) lends his magic on the B3 organ on two of the tracks.

Music Information:

UNDER THE GUN

Under the Gun formed 7 years ago by Frank Cokayne after hearing countless bands doing Freebird badly! Even Skynyrd were lackluster on the Old Grey Whistle Test with only two guitars! It needs the three so finding three good lead players to work together was the first hurdle…Well here we are today Del the finger picker, Jerry slidemeister, Dave shredder! Great mix of styles that bring it all together with the rhythm section of myself on bass and PJ on drums. I do most of the lead vocals but Del and Dave also contribute with a few numbers being sung by them. we are Southern Rock and Texas Blues with the music that we do and have been regulars for the last 6 years at Brightona (the biggest biker day out on the south coast) and we play rock bars biker, custom car, rallies …..Festivals Now in our seventh year…if it ain’t Dixie style it ain’t played by us.

We play covers mostly by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Allman Bros., ZZ Top (the early stuff), Johnnie Winter, Blackfoot, Georgia Satellites, Fabulous Thunderbirds, and even George Thorogood cause we do like a little slide playin. Back on the road, a couple of great new players in the lineup. We are back Kickin Ass Southern Style with a Texas Blues flavour too.

Southern Mischief was formed 2007 and has played shows all over Ga.,Though we have made line up changes over the years they always seem to make us a better band!This band has Harmony Guitars, harmony vocals,and great material.We have been told by music match .com that they hear these bands in our style Bob Seger Eagles Lynyrd Skynyrd Matthew Sweet Molly Hatchet Nashville Pussy The Derek Trucks Band there is no doubt that we are a southern rock band but with a Nashville style lead vocalist ,we have played show with bands of multiple genre’s and left with lot’s of new fans.We are the Albany Harley Davidson 2009 BOB Grand Champion’s and best in Southern Rock and Covington’s 1st annual 2009 Sherman’s Last Burning fall festival BOB winner judged by Bo Bice‘s Mother
